Micah Richards has been slapped with a £60 ticket for leaving his £200,000 supercar parked too long
The Aston Villa captain only paid for a two-hour stay in Manchester city centre yesterday and failed to move his bright red Ferrari in time.
The former England international, 27, was spending the day shopping with a pal and lost track of time.
Villa team-mate Joleon Lescott was hit with an almighty backlash by fans after tweeting a picture of a Mercedes sportscar just one hour after his side were thrashed 6-0 by Liverpool.
The Villans — who sit rock-bottom of the Premier League — were branded the ‘worst Premier League team ever’ by Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher after the defeat.
And players were accused of not putting in enough effort during the shambolic display.
So supporters will be enraged to see Richards’ blatant disregard towards being fined little over a week later.
The defender has already come under fire from fans after he was involved inan angry confrontation following Villa’s 1-1 FA Cup third-round draw with League Two Wycombe.
Richards spent ten years at Manchester City before signing for Aston Villa on a free in the summer.
He was appointed club captain ahead of long-serving Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor.
