Manchester United player arrives training in his mum’s Volvo

One eagle-eyed snapper caught the 19-year-old defender, Borthwick-Jackson being ferried to United’s Carrington training ground by his mum ahead of their Europa League clash with Midtjylland.

And while the Red Devils’ squad arrived in a fleet of luxury vehicles, the defender rolled past in his family Volvo.

Borthwick-Jackson was pictured earlier this month driving into Carrington in a £14,000 Vauxhall Corsa.

But although his wheels may not be top-of-the-range, the youngster has motored into Louis van Gaal’s first-team this term.
